What is my client number?
We have created unique client numbers for all of our clients. If you write down your name, client number and date of birth at your registration form, you no longer have to enter your address details. You can find your client number in the mail you receive from the rowing center.
Under which circumstances will rowing lessons be canceled?
Your rowing lessons are hardly ever canceled. Rowing will also take place under less favorable weather conditions. However under extreme weather conditions such as thunder storms, frost, sub-zero temperatures and heavy fog your lessons may be canceled. Refunds for one time cancellations are not possible. In course A (the winter course) special rules apply for when more than one lesson is canceled. The term and condition can be found on the information form available with subscription for course A.
When do I get a subscription discount?
If you are already a client of the rowing center and somebody subscribes through you, you are eligible for a €9 discount on your next course. Note that you have to write down the name of the new client on your registration form for the course you want the discount for.
This discount applies only when you and the new client registrar for a course in the same period. This discount is only valid once and cannot be combined with other discount programs.
Why can't I row once a week in a C1 as a beginner?
Learning to row in a one person's boat can be best learned in an intensive manner, even if you already have rowing experience in a four person's boat. We believe that once a week is not sufficient to make the required progress.
There are two options available to you:
1.The C1 intensive course (with a fixed combination of monday/thursday, tuesday/saturday, wednesday/sunday) or
2. C1 intense week (four lessons in one week)
After following one of these courses you can enroll in the normal C1 course.
How can I cancel the course I am enrolled in?
Once you have submitted your registration form, your registration is valid. When you are no longer able to attend at the time you have registered for, please contact the rowing center as soon as possible. We will try to accommodate you on a different time. A € 16 administration fee applies to this. If rescheduling is not possible, you may cancel under the following conditions:
-Cancellations should take place in written form only.
-Cancellations received two weeks before the start of the course will result in a refund of the course price minus a € 16 administration fee.
-Cancellations received too late or not in written form result in a refund of only 50% of the course price minus a € 16 administration fee.
-Cancellations for medical reasons require a written statement by a medical expert stating a negative advise for rowing. In this case a refund for the remaining lessons, minus a € 16 administration fee, will take place.
-Refunds will never take place for private lessons, tours or other one time events.
